Come procedono le vacanze...?
Le mie purtroppo sono finite.....e domani si rientra in ufficio...ma prima di riprendere i serratissimi ritmi della quotidianità, voglio portarvi finalmente a casa di Ivonne.
Chi segue BeS la conosce già questa donnina dalle mani d'oro: Ivonne è infatti la metà di BeS.
Con lei ripulisco e restauro vecchi mobili in perfetto stile Shaby Chic!
Dovreste vederci nei nostri pomeriggi di ricerca su nuove tecniche oppure quando siamo in giro per mercatini: sembriamo davvero due invasate...solo chi ama davvero questo stile e si commuove davanti a mobili interamente mangiati dai tarli, può capire di cosa sto parlando:)

How are the holidays going...?
Unfortunately my vacation time is finished, and tomorrow I'll be back in office, but before I want to take you at Ivonne's home.
Who follows BeS, already knows this little woman with golden hands: Ivonne is in fact one half of BeS.
I usually restore old furnitures with her...you should see us when we study new technique to restore or, better, when we go to flea markets: we seem like two possessed! Only who loves this style as us, and is moved by old furnitures entirely eaten by woodworms, can understand what I mean:)

Appena entrati ci accoglie subito quell'inconfondibile sapore di casa, che solo lo stile Shabby Chic riesce a donarci.
Già qui si possono vedere i primi pezzi restaurati da Ivonne, come questo meraviglioso portachiavi, scovato in un mercatino delle pulci.

Ma la mano di Ivonne non si è fermata qui: infatti la casa era in origine arredata in stile etnico, con mobili quindi scuri e prevalentemente in noce.
Piano piano Ivonne la sta ristrutturando tutta, cospargendo la casa di fresco stile Shabby Chic!

But Ivonne's hand didn't stop here: in fact originally the house was furnished in
ethnic style, so dark and walnut furnitures.
Little by little she started to restore it, giving the house a fresh Shabby Chic touch!

Dal momento che sala e cucina formano uno spazio unico, anche la cucina sta subendo l'influsso di BeS...ma essendo un progetto davvero ambizioso è ancora in corso...
Due to the living room and th kitchen are one big and open space, also the kitchen is being renovated by BeS...but because of the magnitude of the project, it is still on going...

...anche se pezzo dopo pezzo e con il mio aiuto (Ivo come vedi lo sto comunicando pubblicamente, quindi avrai un sacco di testimoni all'occorenza:)) presto tutta la cucina potrà godere di nuova vita.
...though piece after piece and with my help (Ivo you see, I'm communicating it publicly, so you will have a lot of witnesses:)), the whole kitchen will be soon brought to a new life!

Ma veniamo alla mia stanza preferita...dove secondo me Ivo ha dato il meglio di sè...immaginate un letto in noce e delle pareti lilla...e guardate con che freschezza è riuscita nel suo restyling Ivonne...
Let's talk about my favourite room, where, according to me, Ivo has been great in her restyle. Imagine a walnut bed and light purple wall...and now see how fresh and relaxing this room is!

Questa casa rispecchia alla perfezione la sua proprietaria che con tanta cura e amore se ne occupa ogni giorno.
E' forse questo il luogo adatto per ringraziarti Ivo, non solo per le tante ore trascorse insieme ai tarli, ma anche per la comprensione e la fiducia che continui a riporre in me.
Sei una persona speciale, perchè credi ancora nei sogni e io sono fiera che uno di questi stai cercando di realizzarlo con me.
