Con lei mi diverto a girare i mercatini e i "robivecchi" per scovare pezzi unici da recuperare.

Today is the Earth Day and I’m going to introduce you Ivonne: a friend, a great partner and... a Shabby Chic lover…of course!

I like to go to flea markets with her, to find old and unique pieces to recover.

Devo dire che tutto il merito per il restauro di questo pezzo va a Ivonne che con fatica e tanto smalto all’acqua, è riuscita a portare a nuova vita questo antichissimo specchio.

I have to say that all the credit for this restoration goes to Ivonne, which has managed,with effort and a lot of acrylic enamel, to bring new life to this ancient mirror.

Qui siamo sotto una magnifica magnolia, nel parco di Rovellasca, in provincia di Como, dove entrambe viviamo, e nel quale abbiamo iniziato la nostra avventura.

Every month BeS will show you a furniture completely restored in authentic Shabby Chic Style , in a completely sustainable and responsible way.

Each piece restored will be associated with an italian village: in this way we want to spread the culture and territoriality of Italy, a land made by great big cities but also by many small villages, which make Italy unique and deserving of the epithet of “Bel Paese”.

Here we are under a gorgeous magnolia, in the park of Rovellasca, a little village near Como, where both live, and in which our adventure is started.
